About Me

I am a Southern California based current educator with a life-long passion for writing, no matter the content or genre. My creative endeavors and essays throughout my educational career have always been a point of pride, from elementary school all the way through college and beyond.

My Beginnings
My first adventure into writing occurred in elementary school on the family computer. I used Microsoft Word on our old Dell desktop to create an illustrated book about an old man that wanted to put on a play for his community. Though this document has been lost in the great hard drive graveyard, I have always remembered it as the origin of my writing passion.

My Development
Middle and high school were when I dedicated much more time and effort to my writing, both creative and educational. I regularly was writing in my numerous notebooks in my down time, before, during, and after school hours. I joined creative wrtiting clubs and took creative writing classes. My essays for numerous classes were always extensively planned and thoroughly proofread. I prided myself on the many DBQs written in my AP US History class. All of these set me up for success in my college career.

Refining My Craft
College enabled me beyond belief when it came to developing my writing. I co-founded the writing club at my community college, later going on to become the club president in Spring of 2019. When I transferred to my university in Fall 2019, I found myself expanding my ability via literary analysis papers. I even went on to be a writing tutor in the final year of my undergraduate program. I have never stopped writing and find myself excited at the prospect of assisting others with their writing, whether that comes with generating ideas, organizing information, finalizing manuscripts, or making the smallest of microadjustments to really make the writing sing.
